It has been confirmed that Lorenzo will replace Pedrosa at Honda next year.
Hope Dani goes to Suzuki and I wonder what Cal thinks of it all.
He was quoted as saying he didn't want a Honda factory ride as the LCR was virtually factory spec but he didn't have all hassle that goes with it.
I don’t see Lorenzo as a team player
There’s going to be fireworks
What about Johnny Rea talk of him maybe getting a factory ride ????
Would you go from being a world champion to an also ran?
Most riders who go to Ducati.
I personally don’t think he will gel with the Honda, not unless they drastically modify it to suit his high corner speed style, MM has to wrestle it around a lot, not always successfully, it seems to need heavy braking into the corners, then sit it up onto the fat part of the tyre and squirt it out, Cal says the same, not Lorenzo’s style I don’t think, time will tell.
Will they need a wall in the pits?
Fully agree @injebreck99
And Danilo Petrucci gets Lorenzos factory seat at Ducati
Just released.. first picture of the replacement for Marquez
I do wonder what was going through the minds of Honda to come to that decision.
Seems a bit odd to me but hey what do I know.
Will be interesting pairing that s for sure.
Money usually decides a lot of things, will Lorenzo bring some extra sponsors with him to help bankroll the team ?
It’s a no brainer for Honda, two proven world champs, they don’t trust MM not to bin it and him sooner or later. Can’t see gorgeous George beating MM but you never know.
Having said what I have I’m surprised they didn’t go for Cal, top Honda rider at times on a lesser m/c and significantly cheaper than JL, with potential to win the championship.
Is Pedrodsa going to Yamaha?
In a team sponsored by Petronas is the rumour.
You're joking, right?
I thought Cal "Erm..." Crutchlow was currently employed as a satellite team full time crash tester?
You mean he's not doing this on purpose every other race?!
