    think thats the black mountains and i,ve parked in the layby where the stones are now.
    nice place to be.

    i like to carry on up to merthyr then follow thebrecon mountain railway nd past pen-twyn res and then up totalybont reservoir.came down that way after malvern last august. lovelly scenary .good pull in to park as well. have a good time ,its nice weather for being up there .cheers alan.

    Yes I know that road, lovely spots but no signal if I park anywhere along there.

    and i can play one tune on my harmonica .wish i could play more but then it wouldnt be iritating. i can sing lots of rock n roll songs badly as well .
    bet we wont no where he is tomorrow he,ll be in hiding. ha ha .
    do i need to bring an a frame or gas bottle filler.

    i just thought for dinner we could have toad in the holei,ll also bring lotsof plastic to burn on the fire ,makes lovelly pretty colours.i could bring some dope but i,l already be there.

    and heres me painting fences before it rains. Up that way in a few weeks so may look the area up.

    Ha! I'm ahead of the game lads, had already moved to a new park-up during the day before I posted those pics, so gennies, harmoncas and vuvuzalas won't disturb me :ROFLMAO:

    and geoff i,ll get to mee you one day i looked in san juan de terreros last winter but couldnt find you.
    also jj missed you in vila real by a day so doug told me. hope to see you all somewhere .cheers alan,back to grass cutting.

    Not too far from there today.....here's a shot near Nant-Ddu, about 25km north, pointing back towards where you were, roughly.

    As you can see, the weather's taken a turn for the worse!

    A470 in the middle, and I was parked on the A4059, so not quite as peaceful either. Particularly when this guy turned up with his mate - they were pretending to discuss their journey, but let's be honest....they know a performance machine when they see one :roflmto:

    I've driven on the A4059 over the mountains there many times, spectacular views :Smile: If you take the wee single track turn on the right over on the other side of the mountains there are some nice parkups to be found away from the fast traffic, I love it round there, but sadly I don't get signal for internet in the mountains.
