Long term Insurance

Hi all, can anyone advise on who will ensure us for a year trip around europe?
the companies we have contacted so far all have a max limit of day you can be abroad?

Think the only insurance you can get for a year would be a backpacking policy which isn't as comprehensive as most people would want.
