Spent £2 that's all, only went for the day as we only live 15 mile away and busy packing for Spain. We only stayed 2 hours as had enough by then so went to the Ten Acres transport cafe and had one of there fantastic breakfasts.

Apart from them , sod all. I ought to have got a new flag pole as ours snapped before I got it done on Friday evening but they are only paper-phenolic, and not up to it really. GRP would be far better but not sold there.

In the end we went for an oldie, but hopefully a goodie - Carthago Chic S Plus on a manual Iveco. A 2008 vintage. All the things on it that we wanted except the levellers, which will be put on before we pick it it.

The only compromise we have had to make is the age of the van, but to be honest, it is better condition than some of the younger ones we looked at and the cupboards etc had a more solid feel about them.

Good move(y) I wouldn't worry too much about age, as you say it's the quality that counts, manual is good and then the levellers = perfect.

Enjoy.

1 x tub of dehydrated water tablets. Expensive, but really handy for those times when the tap is simply to far away and the fresh water tank is empty!

I just got my Union Flag, vinyls out to look and find that the man had cut them to size and has Forgotten to put them through the cutting machine so all I have is three sheets of plain coloured vinyl. I'll never see him again so I will have to find a way to cut them myself, UNLESS I stick them on end next to each other and make a tricolour. GNASH! GNASH! Waste of a tenner there then.

We made a list of things we wanted to look at and possibly buy and managed to (almost) stick to it:

4G aerial from M/home Wifi
Tank freshener
Acrylic Hiball glasses as our 12 year old ones have finally started to crack
Quantum engine re-map
Clear suckers from Polar technologies

We also go some Cadac Tapas dishes (at a bargain £15) and a microfibre hand towel for the bathroom - not on the list

And I would have bought some led strip and aluminium channel from Aten lighting but they didn't have the channel on the stall - but will prob order via email this week.
One guy on one stand was rude and wouldn't let me open the bag to look at the product and lost a sale!

Great weekend though

Aluminium stool/drinks table from the show
2 of those travel teddies for the grandchildren from the show
8 charity shop DVD's to have in the van from Lincoln
A Longines watch for the wife's birthday from Lincoln

We didn't go to buy anything specific, more looking for ideas, inspiration and information and I think I got all my answers.
