I fitted mirror movers on my 2 berth caravan, the battery that was already fitted died a death after using the movers once. I’ve contacted a local caravan sales shop and they informed me that they no longer make 110AH batteries and that the new 95ah is equally as powerful. Is this correct or are they just trying to sell me what they have in stock. My battery dimensions are
L 260 x. W160 x. H230 it needs to slot into a casing on the side of the caravan.

Having you on.....but in theory they will produce the same power but not for as long.
Loads of 110ah batteries out there.
Go to a different dealer or look online.
Battery megastore is highly regarded and decent prices. They deliver quickly too.

Battery capacity does vary cheap batteries often don't live up to their claimed rating. So if the dealer was quoting you on a primium brand 95ah against a cheap brand 110ah he could be telling the truth.
Last place I would buy a battery from is a caravan or Motorhome dealer as you will pay top dollar.
Better to go to Tayna Batteries, Alpha Batteries or Battery Megastore.

I don't think you will.... The length is the problem.
I think because its a caravan its assumed it will be on hookup and not off grid so a low capacity small battery will surfice.
You may have to find a new space for a bigger battery..... Maybe under seating or in a wardrobe etc.

Don’t worry about 95 v 110. Caravans are mostly on ehu so just get one that fits. Buy a brand as above. Cheap batteries last as long as you can get out of the shop and down the street👎

He has a motor mover and they are power hungry. When I had a caravan I used a seperate battery for the mover. We didn't use EHU much.

Not saying your wrong but can you tell us the exact battery model you've currently got fitted, just in case the measurements you quoted differ,

Agreed, I had a seperate 110ah just for the movers.
Watching an owner park his caravan in storage at the weekend, used the movers then drove away, not really any space to do it easily any other way. So presumably it will be the same when he takes it out next time, so without solar that's two moves with no recharge.

I'm struggling to find anything above 70Ah in that physical size. Are you sure about those measurements?
