Been caravanner for over thirty years, now going to have motorhome very soon.
Cannot believe they have reduced the amp to a measly 10 amps,
No reduction in price though but want hot water, warmth etc. then it’s use your own onboard power

Since 2008 after caravanning for 20 years
I've used this site and as I recall it's always been 10amps. Had as low as 2 amps on a farm site in France before now.

Always been 10amps there. At Jasmin We’ve been at 6 amps for about 4 years now, open all year people cope easily enough . You just have to knock the heating off when you put the kettle on. I’m sure people forget that it’s supposed to be camping :)

I only have 12A running a 4 bedroom house with pool & A/c . You rarely run it all at the same time ,if ever.

I’m not entirely sure what the issue is here? We’ve been on plenty of sites with 10A with no issues, other than perhaps giving the heating a rest for the 2 mins it takes to boil a kettle.

If you have Alde heating it's easy to fit a load monitor and it turns the heating down for you automatically, even better is an inverter charger with network compensation and you can use whatever you want as the extra just comes from your batteries to be charged later when demand reduces ;) (y)
