Itineo headlights (1 Viewer)

I bought an Itineo MB2740 2012 model last year and also received a spare set of headlights. The vehicle is left hand drive and was converted. If I fit the lights I lose the daytime side lights (part of the main beam) and get a dashboard message saying check daytime running lights. On looking at the bulb it is different with three leads feeding it instead of two. So the question is, can I use these lights on the continent or has the conversion made them obsolete?
