I’ve used the search but can’t find much about the Isle of Man.
Is that because nobody has been or because it’s not worth the effort?

We went years ago in a coach built van and we got a deal with ferry and campsite, it wold be good if I could remember any details

It's a stunningly beautiful island. Loads to see just don't go when the racing is on as it will be packed. If you go for over 14 days you tend to get a better ferry price but it's a 4.5 hour journey so never going to be cheap. I have been so many times I ought to be a trip advisor

Went this year You can go from Liverpool 2hr but depends on size or weight or from Heysham about 4hrs
Stayed on the .Sulby Claddagh Recreation Area you get a permit under £20
A permit will allow camping at Sulby Claddagh over the whole summer season, which runs from 1st May to 30th September.

A maximum stay of 14 days at a time will still apply. The Sulby Claddagh is not a registered campsite but informal camping is allowed from 1 May to 30 September. Basic facilities are provided onsite including toilets but there are no showers. there's loads to see on the island

We went during the racing, for the racing! Not sure I would of bothered if the classic TT wasn’t on though.
