I’ve seen various ads for this new device which claims to be able to receive all the sky premium channels for free , exploiting a so called law that sky and the likes have to broadcast all their premium content as a normal free to air signal . They apparently do this but at a very low frequency which normal equipment cannot pick up , this new TV FIX device has the ability to receive such frequencies.
So has anybody seen one or used one and does it work ?

I bought one total rubbish all you get is normal free view channels they then try to sell you a .booster save your money

I first heard about this a year or two back and If memory serves this device was developed for the American Market where it may, or may not, have worked as they obviously have different rules, laws and TV transmission systems to us.

well, obviously there is a way BECAUSE I can get all sky channels for FREE !!!

ive worked out how to do it for real, simply you cancel your account and tell them you don't want their service anymore, then your wife takes out a contract because she wants to watch certain programmes

BINGO - I get all sky channels for free all I have to do now is to is stop her accessing my bank account ...

As One Trustpilot reviewer said. It`s about as "genuine as Tartan Paint".

I used to get Sky premium channels free in the 90s.
A mate had a gizmo that reprogrammed your Sky card.
Only problem Sky would transmit a blocking signal from time to time making your card a windscreen ice scraper unless you had the gizmo to reprogram it....which I didn't.
Sky would send a new card after a week or so, they knew what you'd been up to but couldn't prove it.

Subscribers  do not see these advertisements

Was this not discussed before or did I read about it somewhere else.

Either way it’s a crock of s***

:D2 I remember having an ONDigital box with a dodgy card to get all the footie, had to reprogram it every month with some hexadecimal code every month, fun days :D2

I agree, but lets face it, 2/3rd of the time Sky are taking the P88s. We used to get to watch stuff on the BBC for just our "licence" fee. Now we STILL pay the fee (or 99% do). AND can only watch (in my case say, the Super League) IF we pay an extra £40 a MONTH!, same with F1. OK Films are slightly different, in that it was always the case if you wanted to you bought/hired the video. But the likes of Sky are IMV still taking the Pee.
