Dont own one
Hi everyone
My first post and I have to say that I don’t own a Motorhome and probably never will - but let me explain....
I have a boat with a Truma BM14 gas fired boiler installed. She had work really well in the 21 years since I purchased the boat.
But the heater has now give up the ghost - I think the pcb had decided it has had enough!
horror when I learned that Truma units are no longer certified for Marine use.
Please can anyone advise if there are any service engineers who might be able to look at the pcb?
I am berthed in Ireland but could send it anywhere.

Kind Regards
Rodney

Whilst gas is common on a lot of boats, the factor to consider is lpg is heavier than air, any leaks can find there way into the bilges with potential danger, hence a lot of firms will no longer certify their products for marine use. Given the age of your boiler parts may well be hard to come by. Even with bilge alarms their is. A tendency to find alternatives such as oil or mains when in port. Appreciate this is not much help to you but my take on it.
