Inside a cheap chinese diesel heater whilst it is running.

Interesting?? I think frightening is the word I'd use, imagine being parked up next to a gas powered bomb like that

Thanks Karl just in time
It's just started raining and I'm bored
I thought I know! I'lll
Nip out and cut the front off my heater, another job saved cheers

Why on earth would anyone want to see what actually happens inside the heater...........

I thought as I watched all 9 minutes of the video

mitzimad gus-lopez I stand corrected! Still not having a Chinese built anything in RH if I can help it even if it is a good imitation of an eberspacher webasto etc, I've seen how they build ships and quite a few other things that are almost identical to the real thing...

I have to wonder what else he expected to find in there?
You can however see why you need to decoke them from time to time .

Now there’s the difference between someone that just wants it to work and an enquiring mind ?

You do t have an iPhone then or come to it probably 30% of things made have a bit of Chinese stuff in them ?

rough guess at least 50% of the electrics in your van originated in china or the far east probably more

Far East not a problem worked out there for years, Chinese? Totally different kettle of fish. I once had a load of navigation lamps which are supposedly built to international standards, you know so ships dont run into each other and the spec is laid down in exquisite detail, only problem was no standard navigation bulb would fit into them...... Fork handles anyone? ???? Actually precious little important stuff in RH built by Chinese and the only major problem I had was a CB radio that burst into flames and that WAS built in China, not an original RMB fitment tho....

Of course I do, I'm just a bit more careful about what I let them do... Can't escape it just have to hope that anything with a well known brand is doing due diligence on their Chinese manufacturing. So yes Id buy a Webasto but I wouldn't buy a Wan Chaibasto ...

A lot of stuff built in China is built to a very high standard......its the knock off copy shite that gets it all a bad name.

No different to any eberspacher, webasto ,etc, fitted in most lorries¿

Indeed, and not really any different to having a gas powered boiler which is in millions of houses.
