Hi all I have a 2008 Autotrail Cheyenne 730SE, what is the best way to fit a mozzie screen on the habitation door? Are there manufacturers who supply a self fit screen door?
Thanks

I thought it should have one

Horrex and Remis seem to be the main manufacturers of hab door flyscreens. I think the ones fitted to AT were Remis (called Remicare 2 door flyscreen).

You probably won't get much change out of £300. Also, they are a bit fragile and don't like hab doors being slammed against them, caught by the wind !!!

Always use a bungee linked to the front wheel if a slight chance of any wind. Make sure it’s not too taut though!!!

The thing is tho do they stop the mozzies

Just amuse you all.

We had a roller flyscreen fitted to the doorway to our 1st floor terrace a week ago.

I suggested it needed some stickers or something added to alert people to when it was down. She said not needed.

Next evening I went to see commotion outside - straight through flyscreen, pulled out of runners. Me in sh*t ,despite mitigating circumstances of warning.

Flyscreen was repaired yesterday.

Better than nowt certainly. Someone we used to see several years on the aire down at Cabanes de Fleury had one similar, but there was a lot of spare material at the sides causing the husband to become entangled in it when he went to the loo. (It could be however that the rate of entanglement is proportional to the volume of Bombay Sapphire consumed ....)

We slimmed down the one from LIDL. £3.99 and it works a treat in E510!
We have just done the same on our Autotrail Cheyenne because it is difficult to fit a proper one. As you say, works a treat, and still £3.99.

Had to collect near Nottingham

Yes I saw that on their ads.
I only live 20 miles from there in Chesterfield so no problem.
Just waiting for them to get back to me.

His place is not easy to find, it’s around the rear of some buildings all his stuff is in a warehouse/barn but he won’t let you in there

Ok. Thanks for that info. Will it be accessible with my 7.5m motorhome?

Doubtful, I picked it up in my Galaxy., you could park on the main road and walk around back

Yep I will pick it up with my estate car.
Thanks.

What Moho have you got?

Autotrail Cheyenne 740SE.
Got the link from pat3.0.
£195
Looked at map. It looks ok to get MH round the back. I see he does pay on collection.
Does it require a frame making or does it just screw on? Yours looks like it has a frame made, or am I seeing things?.
Thanks for all the info. It has been great cos I have been looking for over 18 months. Using a cheap magnetic one at moment. Driving me nuts, to say the least.

You have the same Moho as me then. I used a length of 6” x 3/4” secured to the left side of the doorway ( looking out) secured with a few small blocks of wood. I then covered both sides with “cloaking” trim as used on upvc windows. I will look to see if I have more photos which may help. Always happy to help. By the way I succeed the top (by the control unit) with a couple of small steel straight brackets which I pop riveted to the top of the flyscreen

These photo may help
