Full time from 2015 - 2023 just short trips now for a while.
Hi all,
The volume on my indicater is so low I frequently miss that it's still on ( rather dangerous ), my garage said they can fit a new relay for £50 but can't guarantee it will be louder so I've stalled on it!
The garage also agree it's very quiet, is this a design fault, a component failure, or is there a suitable modification to be made?
Regard
Steph

I am sure there is an add on beeper that can be fitted. I know there was a few years back, but don't know if they are still available.

As above re: buzzer.
The noise you hear is the mechanical contacts opening and closing and if the relay is hidden away up the dash the sound will be muffled..... But... You also have a telltale Amber light on the instrument cluster. :giggler:

I went down the buzzer route BUT, if like me, you use the indicators a lot + when reversing /stopped ,leave the hazards on it will drive you mad. I changed mine to an inline 12v led that I also have to mask at night with a sponge one side as it lights the cab up

Give the navigator a bell she can ring it when you activate the indicators. You won’t forget to turn them off with that ringing in your ears, unless have tinnitus like me.?

Thanks guys, unfortunately I have a detachable steering wheel which obscures the dash light. The ticker is way over on the passenger side and under the dash. I'll look into the buzzer option, thanks gus.

I've fitted a beeper to my motorbikes, my cars and my m/h indicators. Simple to add to the existing wiring, smaller than a 50p piece - eBay at less than a fiver........

It just beeps in time with the indicator pulses, not continuously!
If it's too loud just stick a piece of insulating tape over the beeper grille.

£10 to £20 for a new relay. Take old one out and look at pins and labels and search Amazon. £12.99 for mine. Made the ticking a lot louder .
