This is a real strange one. I have put some water in the fresh tank which feeds the kitchen, bathroom, shower and toilet flush and the water is pumped by the usual pressure sensing pump which, when a tap is turned on registeres the drop in pressure and turns on thus making the water flow.
Over the last few weeks when I check the camper I have found a couple of inches of water in the toilet bowl on several occasions. I am certain I have not inadvertently pressed the toilet flush button and this is working properly. No water is coming from the other taps but of course they are higher. The toilet flush being the lowest in the system. This is happening whether the main control panel is off or on. So it’s a real mystery. I checked again a little while ago and yes there was a couple of inches of water in the bowl even though the elecrrics had not been on. I wonder if anyone had been similarly haunted.
I have left the electricity off tonight and ensures the bowl is empty. I will check in the morning and if there is water in the bowl I will experiment by disconnecting the power leads to the pump and see if that makes a difference. The theory being that even though the electrics are off and the flush button disabled as a result there may still be a live connection to the pump which is somehow shorting and causing the pump to run for a moment or two.
I will report back but any ideas appreciated.
