...on the forum a lot of folk have "Life Member" after their avatar in their posts for obvious reasons. Some folk have nothing but I have just seen that I have "Funster" after mine...

Does these mean something?

Periodically, when the beer fund runs low, Jim offers a limited number of life memberships for a significant sum. Younger members and olde fartes with illusions of immortality think they will show a profit and will attempt to purchase same. I have never been that optimistic.
