Adria 680ST Gold
Im sitting in Southampton Hospital tonight , I was returning from cricklade to Worthing this morning in the Adria and about 7:45am a Renault master van overtook me but his Mirror hit my van on offside rear quarter just like the last incident outside my old house a few weeks ago , we almost had a full collision at 70mph ,, i manage to pull in at a layby about 600m away , and i was in total shock ,, the other bloke pulled in and at first he was blaming me , we almost came to blows , a couple of other drivers pulled in as witnesses , one for me and one who said I had deliberately tried to run the renault off the road ,, so I called the cops , They arrives and then they called an ambulance for me as I was shaking and having breathing problems ,, Cops say Highways have cctv of the accident and it is clearly the other guys fault although my van was pushed slighty right by his impact which is why the other ''witness '' says i rammed him ??? but all the damge is in same area as last impact but there is a 3m tear in the outer skin cause by his wing mirror its like a sword has been ripped along my van shards of wing mirror plastic stuck in like sharks teeth

everything is going wrong for me at the moment ,, just getting over a bad depression,, moving house , 2 bloody accidents, both not my fault and so many other thing pissing me off ,, the hospital is keeping me in on Heart monitor , checking my blood sugars as they are all over the place and other tests ,, dunno where the MH is ???

Sorry to hear of your terrible time. Make sure you look after yourself and then let the insurance company deal with the accident. That's what we pay them for.

Keep calm and get yourself well don’t worry about the van that will be sorted in due course look after yourself and get well soon (I would give you a heart hug if I could find one)

It will seem like things are getting on top of you BUT

Your are still with us, (could have been worse god forbid)
And let the insurers sort the mess out, thats what you pay them for. Good luck

As said, you're on a run of bad luck but it will change as it always does.
Be thankful there were no serious injuries and the motorhome can be repaired. I dare say the police and your recovery have taken it to a compound for security.
Stay positive (y)

Oh dear, you really are going through the mill. Try not to worry, worrying won't change things.
Just look after yourself and let the insurance company deal with the van.

Take a deep breath its only a vehicle. Your health is more important stress is a killer.
You know your not at fault you have all the evidence all will be sorted in time .
Take it easy.

I am so sorry this has happened to you and glad you were able to walk away and not seriously injured. Please try and stay calm and let the person who caused the accident do the worrying. Being stressed is so bad for you just try and take it easy and let the lovely NHS staff take care of you. What will be will be. Your MH will have been taken care of I am sure.

Try to breathe and focus on getting you right. The van will be sorted.

Take a week off driving if you can (y)

Sorry about your accident, hope you will be OK and life gets better for you.

Terrible luck take it as easy as possible, try not to worry and the insurance should be able to sort it out

Your Health comes first. The MH will take care of itself.

Sounds if you’re completely blameless in the incident.

The MH will get sorted. The most important thing is that you, and no one else were physically injured.
Best wishes

I hate to say this but stress won't help either your blood pressure or your blood glucose so simply for your own sake - please, please, do try and calm down. It is just life and yes, shit does truly happen sometimes. But - we manage to survive! So go forth and do it. Because you can.

Shit happens but at least nobody was hurt and the van can be fixed, on a plus it’s winter so assuming the van won’t be used much and it can be fixed ready for next spring.

Whenever I’m having a crap day and I’ve had some horrendous ones this year I think of the thousands of others who are suffering with health issues I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, puts it all into perspective then🤔🤔

There really are some crap drivers about, the roads are full of them. I had a woman try and change lanes when I was along side her today. Her mirror just touched my van and she swerved back into her own lane. She must have been pretty distracted to not notice a van beside her

The common theme in responses to your post is overwhelmingly of concern and appeals to concentrate on yourself and your health, mental health and physical.
Your posts in other threads have raised concerns about your mental health.
I would strongly urge you to seek professional help if you feel things are getting out of hand.
I hope things look up for you soon

Hi. Just picked up your post, as we've been travelling most of the day.

I hope that, by now, you feel a little bit better, although I know it's quite possible that you'll be affected by this emotionally and psychologically for a few days. Whatever works for you, you must let your feelings out. Calming down and thanking god you weren't hurt is all very well but all it does is keeps the stress in. It's far better to have a cry, talk it through with someone, scream, get angry, write everything down, whatever. Once you've done that, you'll be able to look at things in a calmer and more logical way. Once you're at that stage, you'll be able to move forward with things, get the insurance sorted out and get yourself sorted out. In the meantime, just know that there are a lot of people here who wish you well and who would love to help, if only they could. Try to take strength from that. You're not alone, even though you probably feel pretty lonely right now. If you get to where things are feeling critical, make sure you get the help you need, and quickly. You'll be able to recognise when things are heading back down and you need to get help before they get any worse. Try to keep a list with you of people you can call at different times of the day, so that you never feel like there's no one there for you. Keep in touch with us, if you feel you can. I'm sure we'd all love to know how things are progressing and we can give you a little bit of a lift to help you through this. Take care xx

Jerryz

I hope you get well soon, take it steady though, hopefully the MH will either be repaired or replaced, try and come out of that situation better than you went into it, I always do that when facing adversity.

I will add one other thing that I hope may make you smile. When a reporter was asking Astronaut Tom Peakes father if he was worried about his son going into space he said "No I am more worried about him driving up and down the M27"

I have also been involved in a huge 8 vehicle pile up on the M27. I would post pictures of the aftermath but this is your posting not mine.
