I found this red button behind the sink on the back board facing the rear window. It can't be seen. I rang the previous owner of 15 years and she didn't know it was there! The MH is fitted with a working Strikeback alarm system, so I daren't press the damn thing...
Perhaps Eddie would know?

Do you have a bike rack or tow bar? It may be the cut out for if you ran a cable through bikes etc.

it is obviously not standard fit, but have seen people fit buttons like it temporarily to bypass a faulty microswitch in the nearby tap. It may still be connected or disconnected when the microswitch was replaced. But left there in case ever needed again

That was going to be my suggestion because I’ve fitted one in my bathroom, a bit neater than that though.

Suspense over. I got my head under the sink and there is a 30cm long twin wire lead attached which goes nowhere. I suspect that it was put there for the reason suggested earlier i.e. overriding the sink tap microswitch.
Thanks for the interesting suggestions!

Go on push it, we will get the three minute warning, all available military aircraft will scramble and trident subs will launch,,,,,,,,,,,or you might just isolate a switch................Go on you know you always wanted to be POTUS and have the power............PS if any of the above happens please let us know within 3 mins

Does it have the words Launch or Defcon anywhere near. You did say Strikeback.

That's a good idea, never heard that trick before.
Next time I'm bored that can be my project.
