Our last van was a Tramp 654SL Gold Edition. Had it from new kept it nearly 6 years only changed because we wanted an A Class & a garage. Really liked it, only problem we had with it was corrosion on the Hartal door, which Hymer changed even though it was out of warranty, it was a problem with the gold champagne colour ones of 2007 -2008 vintage.
On the model we had the gas locker was a bit low I ripped the bottom off, when I repaired it I reduced the height from the bottom by 2" never grounded it again.
If was a bit tight at 3500kg better to go for one on the maxi chassis then you will have plenty of payload and more ground clearance.
