Never done one, never even seen one but I can't see it needing specialist tools.
But I could be wrong !!!
Billy Bob's backstreet garage isn't going to have any special tools for every vehicle with a dual mass clutch they work on.

I'd have been tempted to fit a normal clutch and flywheel if one was available, I see DM's as something else to wear out/go wrong, but I don't think they need any special tooling to fit them.

Only ever fitted d m f to VW vehicles no tool needed. Just line everything up carefully and accurately. There are special d m f tools advertisedbut they are for checking condition of the old flywheel.
Some vehicles you can replace with a standard flywheel it might be worth a nose around the internet or Citroen specialist.

many many years! since I was a kid
most importantly use new bolts for the dm flywheel as they do stretch when torqued

I agree no way would I fit a duel mass
if possible fit a standard flywheel conversion kit
flywheel pressure plate and friction disk release bearing and if it's internal the slave cylinder
I hate duel mass I really can't see the advantage to me it's just more to go wrong

As said, I cannot imagine special tools being needed to fit a dual mass flywheel and I agree with others comments that I would avoid them. I had to have the flywheel on my HiLux changed to a standard one when one of the springs broke and was rattling about in the bell housing. That was the third one on the 3 HiLux's I have connections with. I cannot tell the difference in the drive with a standard one fitted.

After much researching I have found out that there is no solid flywheel conversion available for my 2007 Relay 2.2 .(something to do with the g/box not being able to take it). A Transit with the same engine can get a conversion though ! So on with the DMF . Thanks all for help ---Chris.
