How many liters is my tank

Hi , i have just purchased my first campervan, its a fiat ducato deisel 1991 on a j plate, yes its old but i love it. What is the size of the tank. And where would i find the fuel gage as it keeps bouncing full then empty. Im scratching my brain hear( and it not that good). Hope someone can help. Thanks

Assuming you mean the fuel tank and not the water, grey or black tanks, then most likely 80 litres although other sizes were available so it depends what the converter specified.

Edit to add, the tank could be anywhere. The problem may just be a dodgy connection at the dash or the tank end. If you give the make and model of the motorhome, someone here may have or have had one and be able to help more.

Or, siphon some off and fill a 5gall can, then siphon the rest and put to one side for later use.
Once empty, refill measured amount (5galls) and then fill up at a nearby filling station and you will know approximate capacity of tank, Simples!

My old '99 Ducato fuel sender unit was under a metal plate in the passenger floor.
From memory it had spade connectors which are prone to corrosion.
I think tank capacity was 70 litres

Just stop filling at £100 ,at best that's 55 litres and may get you 250- 300 miles out of it.
