How luxury RVs from Morelo are made

Ta Dah...! Managed to upload one!

Here's the front half of it Tam. We haven't had long - we bought in December - so we haven't any of our own photos yet. There's loads on the dealer website in the sold section and when I've got a bit of time I'll upload some on the showcase section.

We particularly like the fact that there's no drop-down bed and it also has a full oven under the hob - you can just see the knob on the cooker. After this section there's the bathroom and shower and bedroom. Its all very much like the Morelo but the Concorde vehicles have curving lines on the dashboard, shower, hand basin, etc and Morelo have gone for the angular look. Other than that the vehicles are really similar.

Looks lovely:)

Yes I’d love one
Would I buy one?
And I can see the workmanship that goes into it and the equipment that justifies the price....

But my lounge on my 6.5m B544 is bigger....

We have a Morelo, having had a Niesmann & Bischoff Clou Liner for 7 years beforehand. Both are exceptionally good vehicles and we are very happy with our Morelo. What suits one doesn’t suit another, each to their own requirements. We are about to set off on a 6 week ski trip and it is the perfect vehicle for the job.

We took our vehicle ski-ing after Christmas and really enjoyed ourselves. The vehicle which was really impressive when driving in the snow. We had a bit of an issue getting snow chains to fit but in the end they weren't needed as the snow tyres and rear wheel drive did everything we wanted and more. Hope you have a great time!

Very neat and tidy Tam... looks cosy!

It makes a big difference taking the table out.

Yeah I use it more as a lounge than a dining room so a caravan table does when I'm not slumbing it and eating on my knee lol

Just had a look at the OP. what a beautiful vehicle, you could certainly tour very comfortably, just loved the car in the back that would suit me very nicely. For anyone who can afford one why not it's a dream machine. We all have our own idea of what makes a ideal Motorhome, good job we are all different or life would be very boring.

Yes, we had no table in the Pilote. Huge lounge. The LeVoyageur one is fixed, but it does have a built in wine rack!

The Morelos that I have seen always used to be parked on the beach in Águilas.

Very true. And sadly past tense, like you wrote ... :(

Last year we spent a German bank holiday weekend on a nice stellplatz by the Saar just outside Saarburg. There must have been 30 or Morelo, N&B and Concorde uber motorhomes together on site during that time. Lovely to admire but it left me wondering why anyone would pay more than the value of our house for a luxury vehicle in which to park up in a muddy field for 3 days.

For us, motorhoming is sort of moderate glamping on wheels. :) It's about mobility, flexibility and adequate comfort but within limits. Why would we need an overhead locker dedicated solely to a half dozen champagne glasses, for example? I get the general concept of 'if you can afford it, why not?' on many things but these lovely vehicles seem so out of place most of the time.

That said, if they make sense to the few who can afford them, fair enough. I'm not envious, just slightly perplexed at their logic, I guess. :)

Beautiful vehicle Mike!

We looked at similar layouts too - they offer a lot of space. Our problem was that I suffer from claustrophobia so couldn't be sure I'd be OK in the sky bed and obviously we couldn't try it out first. It does give a lovely lounge area though.

Only got a few things to say about this really..

Loved the video and thanks for sharing @chippy63 even if wasn't great quality it was good to watch until the point he said "this ones off to premium motorhomes" grrr brought back nightmares... :D

Amazingly bit of engineering and 2km of cable !!! wow, never realised we used so much...

Is it for me? well they look very tall but I could be wrong and they can come in at less than 8 meters which is our rule (despite our N+B being 8.03)

Is it expensive? not really, it's expensive to me but only because I can not afford it...if you can afford it then it ain't expensive so if you are buying one or want one go forth and live your dream I say...

@jimcunliffe have you seen this video before you get yours?

We looked at a similar layout which has some significant advantages. Sally wanted to know where she would put her tea that I bring her when she is in that "sky" bed?
ha ha!!!! You have the same problem, it goes on a tray on the bed.(y)

Not a problem with the bed,it drops a long way down and you can sit up.
That was our test(y)

Well as much as I didn’t like the video,, I do like the vehicle itself!

So if anyone is contemplating selling theirs, I would gladly give you £1.00 a week, for the rest of my life!!

And that’s a genuine offer!! X
