So that we can recognise another Funster if we park nearby.
Something like the attached?

Hi David. We already have a sticker. If you send Jim a SAE he will send you one. His address is in his signature - Jasmin camping.

Having said that, I do like your design.

Hi David, it is a great idea and Funster window stickers are available and proudly displayed by funsters, you can also download a bigger version from rescouces I'm sure someone who can do links will put one up for you.

Just because they are Funsters doesn't mean they have pies to give you...

Believe me... I know this to be true. ;)

I for one don't like our current sticker and I am sure I am not alone with some people reluctant to display it. It is not very subtle and leaves to the wrong interpretation of its meaning (nudge nudge wink wink). Something more in keeping with our lifestyle and responsible attitude and dare I say discreet would get my vote. Tin had on.

Have to say I do rather agree. I have the sticker in the windscreen so other Funsters will be able to identify our membership and maybe come and say hello, but would prefer a more subtle version.

Maybe it’s an age thing but I do still associate the smiley face with the acid house and rave movements, not something I’d like anyone to think was my scene!

Sorry @Jim , #justsayin’ (y)

I like the current one, I have two in my windscreen.

I think the whole point is to make us recognisable to each other at a distance or passing at speed on a main road.

Some thing "subtle" that looks just the same as a thousand others until you get up close would be a complete waste of time. On the road you would never spot one and when you're parked up who's going to go peering closely at other people's windscreen to read a sticker to see if it's the "right" one or not? I'm sure I wouldn't.

Any logo or design like this needs to be a) in bold high contrast colours and b) simple. Dull and muted, or "subtle" if you prefer, and complicated seldom works.

Big yellow smiley face = another funster. Works.

Some random design in beige = could have been anything, hardly even noticed it before I was past. Pointless.

I'll be sticking with the yellow ones.

Past a Funster on the road only last week as per my post. From a distance I was alerted by it being bright yellow.

If you feel all grown up and the Funster sticker does not reflect your attitude to age and life in general then I'm sure no one will mind if you do your own thing with sticker design, but for me it's spot on. (y)

I think the prominent “proud member" wording in the OP's suggestion could be seriously misunderstood. :)

The 10 year one is nice and subtle, looks like you qualify for one next year.:)

Hey, we brought you pies and what did you do, tossed them down the field.

We're not falling for that again.

For those Funsters who are not into the drug/Acid scene or who are not swingers so don’t want to display the smiley. Then you are in luck. Next year we will be printing a batch of blue square stickers to match the logo top left.

The initial print run will be for 12 and we’ll see how they go yy. :D

Print run of 12. Surely there would be greater demand than that. One this way please.

Didn't know there was a special 10 year one, that means I will have to cough up again next year to see what it looks like.
