house insurance whilst away

Hi,

We are currently preparing to be off full timing shortly and I am looking to renew our house insurance. Our existing policy is with Equity red star who cover us for up to 183 days away from the property. Does any-one know where we could longer cover for being away?.

I think its rare that fulltimers leave a house unnoccupied. They are either sold or rented out. Maybe that is why this has gone unnaswered. I do know that insurance is a swear word for many full timers, maybe this is another reason why.
