Hi all,
Swapped from a VW T5
to a Giottivan(peugeot boxer) last year and hadn't had hot water in the VW. Just wondered if you leave your hot water heater on when your parked up on EHU?

I dont think id be comfortable leaving it on while away from the van. Makes sense to knock it off then. I had been switching it off after use but Mrs B is impatient for it to warm for a showrr or dished.Presumably you are referring to a 240v water heater.
Our Truma water heater runs on LPG or 240v
On either fuel we leave on, but when out for the day will switch off..

No, we only put it on when we know we're going to need hot water.Hi all,

What's the saying 'two peas in a pid'? That sounds like meI aim to turn it on during the night so hot in the morning. Then off during the day.
What actually happens, I forget to turn it on at night so no hot water in the morning, turn it on when I get up, get washed in like warm water and forget to turn it off when we go out for the day. Come back to find it on and turn it off. Repeat the process.
