That's quite odd really, The only person I knew to say 'duck' or more usually 'ducks' was my paternal grandmother. She was of Welsh parents although brought up in South London. My other grandmother grew up in Lancashire but the family came from Spalding.As they say in Lincolnshire, Hello me duck!
