Have any funsters had or bought a caravan from Ambergate Caravans?
Has anyone bought a Hobby caravan? Is so where did they buy it from and how were they to deal with?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance

the parts dept were always pleasant and prompt when I ordered anything for previous Hobby motorhome, interestingly they told me the date it was manufactured as well

Thanks for that. Can you point me in the direction of the dealer? I have emailed some dealers in Germany and Belgium but not had any reply yet. I am starting to get frustrated and it is only the beginning. What will it be like once I have bought it.

That is good to know at least. We met the Engineer and he seemed helpful. Seemed like he knew his stuff and would provide good service.

That's OK as we are taking it back to NZ. We don't have Travelers over there so not a problem.

Good to get the feedback first hand. Maybe that's why we haven't heard back from him since we left. Not a good sign of things to come if they give up so early.

Since 2008 & many years tugging
We bought one in 2002 from P.J. Joeressen, and friend of ours bought one from them about 5 months ago.
At the time we bought ours it was about 40% cheaper in Germany but Ambergate did the warranty work without quibbling.
