Help satnav can't find signal

..... it just goes round and round and round and r ...........

I have reset to factory settings but still does it. Have tried changing destinations, tried everything I can think of.
 
your signal is being blocked ! This is either bad weather or you are perhaps indoors and the signal is unable to get through to the device.
 
how old is the sat nav? is it possible that its GPS Ariel is playing up.
 
can you not try a reboot and up date link with your computer pluged in to your satnav

Tom tom in bed now will look for model tomorrow. Will try re computer too.

My Tom Tom told me I had been logged out of it today - no idea as I dk my log in password. Was ( still am) hoping it was a glitch ....trying again to orrow

Sorry Joy. I can't help except to say that a reset might be in order. (Can't help you in knowing where/what to press/push etc.
 
I had the same problem with my Tom Tom they did an update that caused this to happen to certain models. It's an easy fix via their Web site. You just need to enter your model number with your device connected to your computer and you will be given steps to follow. Mine has been working fine since. Hope this helps.
 
HI

Have you updated it recently if not you may be affected by the Week Number Roll Over WNRO problem that happens every 19+ years and occurred in April this year. This can cause your Satnag problems and Tomtom have issued updates that resolve the problem since July last year..

We had the same problem with the tom tom we hooked it up to the laptop and did a full update it’s working fine now just make sure you have a good internet signal when you do the update

When was the last time it had an update ? If not in the last few months than its internal clock is out of whack.
Needs to be hooked up to a computer and the updates done Joy
 
Mine is playing up too, just not finding a signal, so really does mean that any road will take you there:cautious:,
seriously annoying cuz I'll have to read the road side directions.
 
Bizarre mind did it a couple of months ago
 
It's all due to the heat wave, the satellite signals have been melted on their way to your sat nav movan :sun::hot:

I've been on the internet, their help is pretty naff, they have no results for 'no satellite connection' resulting in an oops sorry.:(
 
So then I signed into My Drive Connect and with my TT plugged into the computer hit the update button, bingo, connection back, couldn't seem to do it until I'd got into MDC. Hope this helps for anyone else.
 
This was quite well documented in April ( and May come to think about it )
The only surprising thing is they have lasted this long :-)
