hello all
We have just bought our first camper,a 1990 C25, with what looks like a Glendale conversion
We got it home after camping the first day we bought it. A load of rain dropped and we now notice small evidence of damp. No massive but all centred on the roof seam rail that runs front to back. It looks like the back end
Went back to guy whole sold it, he denied all knowledge because he kept in dry storage and never took it out in the rain.
Our mechanic suggests stripping off the existing rail and sealant, re-doing it and attaching new seals.
I have not got the skills for this, can anyone recommend a tradesman in Herts/Bucks/ Beds that could help.
We just want to get it water tight ASAP and then work on the issues
Stupid me. I was so naive despite doing all the reading beforehand. There was no evidence of current damp when we inspected it
We just feel dumb, but determined.
Help!
