Very new!
We are very new to motorhomung. We have a Peugeot suntor. We are away in Whitby, everything was working fine and suddenly the kettle wouldn’t work. It was the only thing on. The lights work but no sockets and no flush. The trip switches are fine... we’ve had them on and off with no difference. The only other thing plugged in is the tv which isn’t working. All lights etc no problem. What do we do?
Convinced it is something really simple but we just don’t know what to do😩. Thanks for any help ... please !!!

Are you on an EHU (mains electric) at a campsite?

Have you tripped the switch on the bolard outside where you are plugged into ?
What size kettle as a common error is people take 3kw from home and the campsite supply is not enough (yes, that was us).

It’s a camping kettle . We assumed if we’d tripped the post the lights wouldn’t work?

If you have the heater on as well then that can trip the bollard fuse. It's a big problem in the EU where the supply can be as low as 6 watts!

We are out at the minute. Thankyou so much for the swift replies. Just going to ring the campsite to ask them to reset. Assuming they have to do it?

It depends, usually there's a fuse box and reset switch on the bollard unit but some campsites lock these for the obvious reason!

Many you can reset yourself.
See if the breaker is accessible or if the cabinet is locked its a staff members job. .

We’ve rang them
And they said they will go and reset so hopefully when we get We will be fully switched on. Thankyou !!! All !!!! Xxxx
The problem there, if you aren't present when they reset how do you know it won't trip again?
You may just be overloading it and if stuff isn't unplugged it's still overloading.
