Hi all, just joined after reading some threads over the last few weeks and learning so much from you all already. Looking for a MH and we have narrowed down our search to (hopefully) a Burstner or Adria, second hand 17-19, fixed rear bed(s), drop down up front for friends or to just spread out, separate shower and we'd like parallel seats for a more open feel as we'll have our lab Max with us and he needs to stretch out . The ones we like are Burstner 744 (not fixed or parallel seats but good with rear lounge if it has two drop downs), 727 or 736, or Adria 670DL or SLT - and with all of them the level floor is good too.
We started thinking about this 4 years ago, then last year thought "now would be good to get away and have our own space", followed by "we seem to be a bit late to the party and just look demand/prices!". Anyway, we are happy to be patient, and have tried to get round to a few dealers or hire places up to a couple of hours from us in Essex to get a feel for layouts and manufacturers, and had a couple of video calls with dealers as well. First time owning a MH but we have camped before and Carl has driven horse boxes and I am looking forward to a bit of ocd packing when we get going. We have holidayed in the UK for the last 10 years as we didn't want to put our dog into kennels, so this feels like the next step as the flexibility and having our own space really appeal. We may well hire for a couple of weekends Oct/Nov just to be sure before taking the plunge.
Looking forward to learning lots, and hopefully joining in more when we finally find our Max wagon,
Mandy
