My Wife and myself have been campervanning for ten years now, our first was a pink Bedford Bambi. We had the good fortune to be able to take a year out and we visited many places but we loved Portugal and Italy most. We both had a fabulous time and couldn`t wait to roam again. We have organized our lives so that we can travel for three months of the year. This is our forth time back in Portugal. Any places you funsters think we shouldn`t miss.

Like you we love Portugal, we also spend 3 months in Sweden during the summer, both are our favourites, so much so that we have been spending winters in Portugal since the early eighties, we feel it is like our second home.

We are at Camperstop Messines for at least another month. If you have time come and visit, will always rustle up a brew or something a bit stronger if you prefer.

Hello and welcome ! 3 months a year travelling how great is that ! Enjoy!BTW my granny and aunt and uncle lived in Overstrand years ago and they use to travel in a bambi! But it wasn't pink!

I love Lagos - plenty of free parking around the marina at this time of year. A lively town that is not dependant on tourism and some beautiful beaches within walking distance. Keep heading west for more unspoilt Portugal - if that is what you like?
