Hi everyone,
As the username suggests my name's Tom and my girlfriend Chloe and I are slowly but surely looking into the world of campervans - we're no strangers to camping having been tenting around the UK in our 1961 Land Rover! Both our families have owned caravans/tents/campers over the years. My mother owns a Bongo and before that had a VW T2 'Late Bay' which we did LEJOG in... anyway I could blab for hours.
As a keen electrical nerd/mechanic/welder etc I hope I can bring something to the table with your forum, I've been lurking for a while but thought it's time to join in!
We had our hearts set on an older Mercedes 508d but after looking at the price of upgrading our driving licenses, the waiting list for the tests and a few other things I think we're better off looking for something smaller and more sensible such as a 208d or something.
