Has the ‘edit’ button been disabled?

Just spotted a typo on one of my posts and went to edit it, but the ‘edit’ button seems to have disappeared? I’m logged in, so that can’t be the issue.

You get a limited time to edit posts. I can’t remember what it is - couple of hours maybe?

You only get a short time to edit before the button disappears, I think it is about an hour.

I guess The time limit is to prevent retrospective editing of a post to stop the post from being altered, which would lead to confusion in a thread if read after a post has been edited.
