Hi,
I have a 2018 Auto-trail Delaware with a Thetford oven and I cant get the grill or oven to stay lit. They come on when the control is pressed in and stay lit as long as it is held but even when its been on for 30 secs or so it still goes out when released. It was working fine two trips ago. Last time we couldn’t get the grill to stay lit but the oven and hob were fine, now the hob is still fine but not the grill and oven.

Unfortunately the troubleshooting section of the instructions doesn’t have any ideas! It’s a Aspire 220-230.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Thermocouple ...?

Do you have have the oven door open for while, you do on our Smev oven.

Try removing the knob on and packing a small piece of paper into the socket, sometimes the knob doesn't push the shaft far enough in to lock onto the magnet.

Bear with me, but if I swap a hob button for the oven/grill button it often works. No idea why and comparing buttons I can't for the life of me figure out why, but it works 🤔

This may shed some light on my post #8 👍

Thanks for the quick responses. I will give them a try and let you know how I get on.

As both oven & grill are doing it if they have conventional thermocouples I can't see it being a thermocouple or gas valve problem.
But if it has electronic flame detection like the fridges have it could be a fault with the electronic control unit.
