My Chausson Grey waste pipe is broken [see pics] - any ideas on fixing, I assume I can remove the 'Black bit' held on with 4 screws ? then find a DIY pipe bend and extension to the side for drainage ? Pic 01.jpgPic 02.jpg

It looks like normal 40mm solvent weld waste pipe .. if that elbow is welded into the black outlet, it may be easier to replace the black part as well.
Alternativly, leave the elbow insitu and fix new pipework to it and repair with a self amalgamating tape if leaking.

Cut off the grey bend flush with the black base then a plumbers merchant may be able to supply an elbow to fit inside the grey stub.
Failing that, a correctly sized hole saw in a drill and work from the tank side, obviously after removing from tank.

That elbow looks like it's been bodged in with some silicon sealer. I wonder if the black part is made of nylon as it's the drain valve and wouldn't be glueable with the normal pvc/abs adhesives ? With a bit of luck, the broken elbow will just pull out. If you can't find the pipe size in B&Q et al, try a koi carp supplier, I got my Burstner waste pipe from one.

Gixer you could try a shop that sells large fish ponds etc , our local one does the slide valves and parts , the guy there crawled under my motorhome and checked the sizes etc

Remove the four Philips head screws from the black plate and ease the plate and broken pipe elbow off. Once it's off, you can remove the broken elbow and replace with standard 40mm solvent weld fittings and pipe from Toolstation or your local plumbers merchants.

Okay, I'll ask the 'elephant in the room' question that everyone is avoiding ... how the heck did you break it? :giggle:

Not me - like that when I bought it, can't see any other damage so may have been a rock ? Still works OK but harder to park over a drain as can't see it so will replace and have pipe to the side as was original :cautious:

After minxy’s question mine is after looking at the pictures. Does it matter that you have knocked a bit out of the grey elbow? It looks like it will still do it’s job.

An off cut of flexi pipe could be heated and sweated onto the stub end remaining, cut to the length that allows you catch sight of it from the cab.

Replaced mine as slightly to far under for easy access, 40mm solvent pipe from Screwfix😄

Looks similar to mine with the pull handle to open valve, I also added a valve connector on the end as the slide plate was stiff and sometimes didn't fully seal.
