Greek motorhomer’s

Here we are sitting in sun at Turiscampo contemplating all the different nationalities here , just about every national in Europe here and all getting on very well together . But my wife has just asked a question that I can’t answer why do you never ( in my experience) see Greek Motorhome’s either here or on the roads of Europe , has anyone else seen one or do they simply not go camping?

They are hard up! But I guess if you live in such a beautiful country why would you want to leave it? In contrast why do you see so many Dutch campers around - and Belgians?

On a mischievous note, a new MH would suggest wealth - which might attract the interest of the tax authorities!

Can report a sighting of two Greek motorhomes travelling together in Obernai in Alsace last Spring. Particularly remember them as they screeched into the space next to us narrowly missing our front end! You're right though rarely spotted on our travels.

I think the Greeks prefer boats - owned and registered anywhere but Greece of course.

Never used to see Finns years ago or many Belgiums,,,Probably not taken off in Greece yet..Didnt see many Spanish motorhomers years ago,,plenty of caravaners but motorhoming is now very popular with them. BUSBY.
