Has anyone seen the new Autotrail Grande range. The website has limited info and there hasn’t been any reviews??

There doesn't appear to be very much publicity around yet. I'm also interested in this newcomer but nervous after the last mess Autotrail made of manufacturing an AClass. Not sure if they are making it in the UK or at there plants abroad.

The smallest Grande has a payload of approx 230kgs on the 3500 chassis, so not really fit for purpose.
You would need to uprate quiet a bit.

Is it just a "rework" of another Trigano Group model? Think it might be.

Probably. Its very expensive creating an all new design AClass. Hopefully it will be a success without water ingress and maybe, only maybe, some proper customer service.

Always had excellent customer service on my present and previous autotrails.

The first Grande Frontier was based on the Italian built Arca - another Trigano brand.
This one seems to bear strong similarities to the current Mobilvetta range.
Badge engineering is nothing new, and obviously offers economies of scale.

Not going to sell many of them, says body width 3.1m that's illegal on UK roads.
Naff all payload but they still put a microwave in, what idiot of a designer have they got.

Also hab door & steering wheel on the wrong side for an A Class. :giggle:

with a 250kg payload clearly aimed at ex tuggers who would think this enough as caravans have a lot less so they would bluff them into getting an upgrade  Plus height over 3m so no good on tolls if anyone wanted to use them and 4 berths but only 2 seats?
