Has anybody have any feed back regarding Xgody sat navs, I already have a TomTom and a Garmin but need another temporarily, fed up transferring from car to car!

very good if you keep it up to date. Generally a bargain price too

I have had 3 different Xgody sat navs over the years and found them all fine. The latest is the Xgody 886 which I would recommend you get as it has 8mb of storage and 250mb ram. The 8mb storage is needed to store all of europe on the unit although you can put the system onto a micro sd card and work off that. The gps system is IGO Primo whch is programmable for large vehicles and has never tyaken me down difficult routes in all the yeras I have had one.

THe hardware is not the best but acceptable the battery life without being plugged in is woeful but that has never been a problem for me. Just dont take on a long walk.

For circa £40 it cannot be beaten.

On the 2nd page of the Win Ce menu there is an item USB this must be set to "mass storage" for a pc to recognise the sat nav. Yours may not be set.

Thanks to Lunarman I think its sorted..
