Good point on MPG

Since before Motorhomefun
I was on a US forum discussing my buses MPG and got this reply that made a lot of sense.

You'll get lower mileage in the UK because of traffic conditions. It's not uncommon in the U.S. to be able to drive hundreds of miles without changing speed or stopping. That doesn't happen much on your side of the pond. Starting and stopping really eats gas with MHs because of their weight.


I make him right and they don't have lorries running at 56 MPH to with leave me driving faster or slower than them because they can out brake me.

Just stick it on cruise over there and drive accordingly.No stop/start.

Also their roads and driving mentality are sorted.:thumb:
 
Plus 'Road Rage' incidents can be sorted sometimes with a hand gun:Eeek:
 
the australians use cruise to avoid speeding tickets, not for fuel consumption.
they also set the satnav speed limit warning as well, belt and braces.

there are no speed limits in the northern territories but they have no roads either....so satnav sales are pretty poor.:Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:
