Globecar Summit 600 Plus Special Edition New German Van Conversion High Spec. & Good Price (2 Viewers)

Worth looking on eBay, Gumtree, Preloved, Autotrader etc for used Globecars as well as UK dealers websites but not many out there & despite checking regularly over two years we never found a Summit.

Summit 600 Plus has just won campervan of the year in the Netherlands although this model is virtually unheard of in the UK!

Just spotted that there is now one Summit (the first?!) in the UK http://www.highlandcampervans.com/vehicles/globecar-summit-600 but £51720!

Our Summit like many ordered by German buyers has been delayed so we are very fortunate that the buyers of our current motorhome are waiting & letting us do the two meets & 2 rallies that we have committed to run. If ordering any new motorhome it's best to factor in a possible couple of months delay & if it comes in on time then that's a bonus

We are happy with what we will be paying - final prices depend on strength of pound, specification, cost to collect etc which are variable. We had to import to get this model at a fair price with the specification we want & the overall package of extras offered by Duemo is very good plus lots of help & advise available on the forum with regards to the importing process if needed
We are busy getting ready for two upcoming meets but feel free to PM us to discuss further & we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Might be worth asking others who have already imported about their experience too.

Our Summit has now been built to our spec. & is at the dealers! Just got to be patient now as we have a while before we are free to collect it but can now make plans.

Now for 2019 the Poessl brand Clever has this type of bathroom in the Flex Kids 636 model seen here



at just after 25 minutes & also has all automotive "proper" seats, extra top bunk, huge fridge & freezer as well as the clever pull across bathroom like in the Summit so quite impressive design for a van of that size. There's also a quick glimpse of the Summits on the video from this years Dusseldorf Show.

Forgot to add - no prices on http://globecar.co.uk/ yet for 2019 but probably available from the October NEC Motorhome Show onwards as they normally have paper price lists there.

Looks similar but we tried the bathroom in the new Adria Twin recently in Germany & feels like less space than in the Summit bathroom but good to see more manufacturers doing this design as it's a great use of space.

Indeed a clever and for once practical idea!

Certainly some clever ideas by Adria - did like the drink/bottle holder inset in the table, the neat step for the bed, the option of Isofix & the modern interior in the Twin Supreme that we looked at.
