‘Where’s the rest of it?’ People mock Trafalgar Square Christmas tree

As sure as night follows day the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree has arrived and it is being mocked for being scrawny.

Perhaps it's just a bad year for fir trees - the Peterborough city centre one has attracted similar criticism.

It's the thought that counts. It is a gift from Norway to say thanks to Britain for helping fight the Nazis in WWII.

Perhaps if we re-instated the Newcastle ferries to Norway, they would give us a better tree!
