Expensive, but it`s a way out.... for off site camping and low battery`s...

They do work well and have an automatic setting which you can customise to suit your desired switch on/off voltages including a delay timer so that the reduced voltage from big loads doesn’t trigger a false on.

It has to be said that they are not the cheapest to run but very convenient as a get out of Jail.

Hi Mo,you could put some solar on the top of your trailer and a couple of spare batteries inside and connect up to your PVC when you need the extra power. Or better still a lithium battery.
You could also put the panels on hinges to get the best sun position.

Am I reading that right? £2650 for 600watts?

Can't be surely?

My EU1.0 Honda Genny was about £850 for 1kw and has the advantage of detering people parking too close.

My EU1.0 Honda Genny was about £850 for 1kw and has the advantage of detering people parking too close.

I am not sure where 600watts comes from but the price of a comfort 140 the middle size is just short of £3k and the output is 6A the 140 refers to the 24hr output of 140ah, in terms of deterring people from parking close to you they are no match for a generator Honda or any other.
