Gas pipes in newish vans.

Is the gas in modern vans 8mm or 10mm?I have measured the diameter with some callipers and it says 8mm.Is it too obvious to assume therefore it will be 8mm pipe and hence i will need 8mm fittings?Thank you.

8mm OD then its 8mm fittings.

Some converters use 8mm & some 10mm, if it is 8mm dia you will need 8mm fittings.

Gas pipe size can be either 8 mm or 10 mm , depending on what the pipe sizing calculations were
That’s if they did their design correctly.

Ours is 10mm to the manifold then 8mm up to each appliance. You'll probably want compression fittings.
