Morning folks! Sat here at the ferry terminal about to hit France and not a great time to ask a daft question......
I have a Garmin 760 truck nav and am trying to figure out how to change the settings so that when I go to the address/ where to, I get an option to put in gps coords instead of a postcode. Can anyone suggest how it's done please? Cheers. Bob

Very easy, in the 'where to' menu, scroll down until you see the coordinates option logo.
Here is the instruction section from the 560 manual which is virtually the same machine - just a bit smaller.

Thanks @JeanLuc On my version, there's no coordinates option icon in the Where To section. If I go to the settings section there's a setting in units and time that Ives "position finder" and there's "coordinates format" but that doesn't change anything in the "where to" section ....... still a bit stuck!

We have the 760 Camper version and in the "Where too" section I get this screen and when I scroll down the second one.
Wouldn't think the truck version was very different.

Cheers @Clarky All sorted now (y) Just about to boards the ferry. Impressed with the ease of getting through check in with the dog (our first time) but realise it's not so straightforward on the way back. Three weeks of trying to follow the sun :Grin::Grin:
