Morning all. I have a Thetford 3-way 'fridge, but one where you have to manually change the setting to EHU, battery or gas. All of a sudden, the 'fridge will not work on EHU. It works on gas (have not tried battery yet) and is running fine at the moment, just on gas. If I try to put it onto the EHU setting, the blue light just blinks. There is no problem with the EHU itself as everything else on EHU works. I can't find any useful information in the manual. Any suggestions as to what the cause and solution may be please?

Thanks. I'm an electrical ignoramus! It has worked well for the last year and the EHU hookup and use of other appliances has not really changed.

I had a similar problem in France, albeit a Dometic fridge. It was down to insufficient “power” at a particular site, fridge worked perfectly at next site.

I spent hours trying to sort it!

Are you plugged in to a known supply (ie are you at home?) if not I would suspect possibly low volts, we had similar in Spain some years back, EHU showed a connection and some things worked but we only had 130V o_O do you carry a multi meter ? can you take a vent cover off which should then expose the input cables, maybe worth confirming the volts at fridge itself, if they are good I would fear the controller is faulty :(

Thanks. Yes, plugged in at home. I'll see if I can find a handy person to help me check with a multi meter, then I'll know how to use it for the next time:)

@saint
I believe the OP stated that it is a manual change over system, not auto.

since 2014!
According to the installation manual, it has a 2A slow blow fuse in the 240v circuit, possibly in the little box at the back, where the mains cable is connected.
