On mains light on but no temp?
I'm not sure if you are aware or not Sue, but from room temperature to cold (5 degrees), can take hours to achieve, hence some folks cooling the fridge/freezer down overnight, before loading up the next day.
How long has it been on mains?

Sue coulson you need to keep this with your Gas problem as the issues are going to be connected somehow.
Having just seen Dane's post before adding mine, there is obviously something else going on, so maybe my reply isn't useful.

Good luck sorting the problems out Sue. (y)

Jock. :)

With the other tread about gas problems it sounds like a control problem. Could either be the control panel PCB or the unit on the back of the fridge that controls power source & ignition.

I've found Will at Caliam to be excellent.
They're maybe an hour from Tenby.

Parts are obsolete also hard to get for your model but with the right engineer it is probably repairable.
New fridges are silly money.

We found many years ago that food anywhere near the metal convection plates “ greatly “ reduces cooling by reducing air flow and renders the fridge useless.
Empty fridge of all contents and try again if issue repeats.

Was quite steep. It nows works for an hour then flashes yellow? Any clues?
If it was a few minutes it would point to the flame failure thermocouple but I wouldn't expect it after an hour might be worth changing a lot cheaper than a new fridge.

The mains not working it could just need a new element.

Does it work on 12v?

That is good news, so could be just a replacement thermocouple & mains heating element.

When my fridge is on 230v and no EHU connected the light works so I can only assume the power is coming from some of my 12v batteries
