I'm not sure if you are aware or not Sue, but from room temperature to cold (5 degrees), can take hours to achieve, hence some folks cooling the fridge/freezer down overnight, before loading up the next day.On mains light on but no temp?
Having just seen Dane's post before adding mine, there is obviously something else going on, so maybe my reply isn't useful.Sue coulson you need to keep this with your Gas problem as the issues are going to be connected somehow.

Oh blimey!! Called an engineer unit mobile maybe they can help thank youWith the other tread about gas problems it sounds like a control problem. Could either be the control panel PCB or the unit on the back of the fridge that controls power source & ignition.
Been told the fridge is knackered(his term not mine) travelling fir 3months! In wales at momentGood luck.

Parts are obsolete also hard to get for your model but with the right engineer it is probably repairable.Been told the fridge is knackered(his term not mine) travelling fir 3months! In wales at moment

New fridges are silly money.
Non-level should only affect the cooling not the gas flame unless a really steep slope.Well my fridge on gas appears now to be working
Must have been because I wasn't level. Just power now

Was quite steep. It nows works for an hour then flashes yellow? Any clues?Non-level should only affect the cooling not the gas flame unless a really steep slope.
If it was a few minutes it would point to the flame failure thermocouple but I wouldn't expect it after an hour might be worth changing a lot cheaper than a new fridge. Was quite steep. It nows works for an hour then flashes yellow? Any clues?
Oh okay just got to find an engineer willing to look. Not sure abt 12volt will check tomorrow off to st David's. Trying to fine a site big enough to have mobile engineers on their boards? If it was a few minutes it would point to the flame failure thermocouple but I wouldn't expect it after an hour might be worth changing a lot cheaper than a new fridge.
The mains not working it could just need a new element.
Does it work on 12v?
