BENIMAR BENIVAN 122
Benimar benivan 122 2019,when filling the tank it goes up to 100% but then without using any water it goes down to 75,then 50 and reading stays at that level but l always get overflow wasting water.

That's because the tank probes are rubbish, doesn't matter make of van.
Agreed; I'm finding the same as I get more use out of our Corninium Duo. I now fill it until water comes out of the overflow which is a bit wasteful but I'm learning to see the signs so I won't be wasting too much in the future.

I recalibrated our water level meter to read accurately at lower water levels so we don't run out, and fitted a float switch connected to a buzzer to let me know when I'm filling that it's full.

On my next conversion I'll be putting a high level and low level float switch in wired to a buzzer, it should solve the problem.

Kemo M167N works very well and is accurate. Easy to fit with 13 core cable

Jaws fitted an external sensor to his tank that works well, no need to drill the tank. It does mean you need to be able to access the tank side to fit not possible on a lot of vans.

What about using one of the blue tooth gas cylinder level monitors?

Tried it, sort of worked, but not really as the Mopeka sensor is calibrated to the specific gravity of liquid propane which 0.504 and water is 1.0
Tried to measure diesel as well, not much good either.

I’ve had to clean the probes in our waste water tank twice in 3 years, they start to read full when it’s only about half after a while, easy job if you can get underneath. Apart from that ours are reasonably accurate.

Ours had a useless analogue meter on it. Fitted a float switch 25% up the tank and reused the wires for a red LED in the control panel, works great. I know when it's full because it overflows 😊

After 12 years I'm getting pretty good at estimating how much water we've got! Cleaning the sensors has never worked for me so I just tend to ignore the reported levels (waste is the same) and the "full" or "empty" warning beeps from the switch panel.

<Broken link removed>
I use a double and 2 singles hanging from top 4 colours of LEDs. The red one is overfull just about to flow onto carpet. The blue is set to 2 showers left.
Its in the outhouse next to the filler cap

For me it's never been an issue.
If it sez full I've got loads, so no worries.
If it sez empty Id better get some soon, so no worries.
I'm past fretting about a water guage not being accurate.
