Hi are any of you lucky people in France along the coast where the bad fires were? If so what is the present situation has there been rain, are all sites open, have the fires stopped breaking out, in short how safe is the coast now ? We are hoping to go there in September but thought some up to date information would be a good idea.

Nothing on the french news channels about it whereas a couple of weeks ago it was major headlines
I agree hence my request for info as we don't wish to go if there are still problems
