Fantastic aire stayed many times....gets very busy high season but the guest house on the left halfway down also has pitches with electric at the same price as the aire.

Lived in Mortagne sur Gironde for 9 years and can thoroughly recommend the aire. We still visit once or twice a year.

We had our inaugural trip there the other week! Not too far from us and will definitely go back. Even in October it was glorious!

Give it a try, only slight problem is that, other than the little wine shop that sells other bits as well as bread, the main shopping area is a good walk away!

Got to be one of our favourite aire's in France regularly stay for longer than 2 nights. Recommend the restaurants too. :thumb:

We stayed 3 nights in June. lovely marina - there's some money berthed.
Brilliant area with old church carved into the rocks.
Only 7.50 per night, collected in the morning. If your up early it's funny to watch some motorhomes trying to get out before the guy comes to collect - he is often just waiting for them:ROFLMAO:.
You just have to go - one of the best aires we used
    Don
