Hi All
I want to fit a reversing camera to my Burstner Aviano i727 2013.
I've purchased the best I could afford a Camos twin camera which I have seen fitted to many Burstners.
Virtually all the ones I've seen are just below the high level brake light.
Does anyone have info on cable runs for the back panel, I've been told to look in the high level rear cupboards.
Can anyone offer advice?
Thanks in advance Ray

In my opinion you will have to decide on and design your own cable route.

I fitted one to my Kontiki years ago.

Drill through rear panel at high level in lockers for cable entry then seal cable in hole.
Route through rear overhead lockers using plastic mini trunking then down the corner trim panel after removing panel to under seat area (rear U shape lounge).
On floor under seating in trunking then under the hab door threshold plate.
Low level under fridge cabinet, through heating duct boxing below dinette after removing said boxing.
Under rubber floor mats below drivers door then up the back of the dash to the monitor fixed to the dash top..
3 to 4 hours work.

How about into cupboard, down wardrobe, underneath then in through the engine.

Hope you bought loads of wire.

If you want to do it inside use the water and heating pipes as a guide.

It's great fun and you really get to know the intimate details of your MH.

Might be worth a chat with the workshop of a Burstner dealer. Might be pre-wired for the camera.

Hi I have a 2014 i727 I did not want to drill the back of van for camera so mounted it at roof level ran cable over roof to cooker vowel and dtopped it down back of cooker/fridge through floor onto chassis and back into engine bay and through into dash board . You only see a small section of cable at back where it connects to camera but no water ingress worries and waranty issues as no holes drilled
